Held in August 2005, in memorial to the V.E. Day, and part of a Celebration which was held up and down the whole UK.
To the left :- Lara McNeil - the winner of a flight in the stunt plane, a “Pitts Special”, which had done a spectacular acrobatic exhibition above the fields where the Celebrations were held.
A raffle had been held earlier in the day, and Lara won a 15 minute flight in the plane, where the Pilot, who is an Instructor, let her have the controls at one point. A chance in a lifetime...............
Period costumes and vehicles from the era, were all on show. Various prizes were won on the day for originality and turnout.
A dinner dance followed in the evening, which went on until Mid-night..
