Birds
Welcome to my birds section. There are all manner of things in here from captive owls, falcons, hawks to pheasants, herons and other birds of prey, where the photos were taken close to home. I have a sparrowhawk photo in this section which was actually taken through my livingroom window, as it was sitting in the hedge watching a sparrow and blue tit. This was promptly chased when my wife realised what was happening, and open and shut of the front door was enough. "Not letting that kill my birds", she said!
The hooded crow was taken at Glenbrittle on the Isle of Skye, as was the buzzard taken early in the morning. The silhoutte buzzard was "manufactured" for a silhoutte competition at the Camera Club.
I have loads to add into this, including various buntings, warblers, ducks, finches, etc,etc.
