Gala day 2011
Gala Day 2011.
Photographs taken on the "Gala Day" 2011(2nd July). These images were taken at the Boleside Tweed crossing just after the cavalcade had a drink at Abbotsford House. Some of these photos were actually taken for part of another project which is currently being worked on, which should come to some fruition by the end of the year! I'll keep you posted!
Anyway, a fantastic day was had by all, the weather could not have been better and I think the horses really enjoyed traversing the cool waters of the Tweed..some maybe more than others!
We did have a bit of excitement, where one of the horses reared up just as it was about to go ashore on the Boleside bank, luckily, or maybe skillfully, the rider stayed on!
